The hype about turmeric has not gone down, and with good reason.
Turmeric is an ancient herb that originated from India and was used as a natural dye, a spice for food, in special ceremonies, etc. Recently, probably within the past year, turmeric has reached a peak in its popularity for being a natural medicine in treating arthritis, dementia, Alzheimer’s, cancer, and many other ailments/symptoms.
In this post, I’ll list a few of the benefits that turmeric has as well as some additional information to help you get to know turmeric a bit more.

Hi everyone! So in this post I’m going to be reviewing L’oreal’s EverPure Sulfate Free Moisture Shampoo! I’ve already reviewed the hair sheet mask on my Instagram post linked here.
To start off, I did receive this product from Influenster complimentary for testing. When I first got the box, I was BEYOND excited to try everything out and ended up using the shampoo and sheet mast on the day I received it, and the experience was amazingggg. I actually ended up purchasing another sheet mask because my hair reacted so well to it. It left my locks feeling smooth and frizz free for about 36-48 hrs without any additional products.
For the shampoo, I actually ended up using it for the full month of February in order to see how it would treat my hair long-term. And being completely honest, I didn’t notice much of a difference compared to previous shampoos I’ve used (before receiving my complimentary products, I was using SheaMoisture.)

My skin with #nomakeup + #nofilter + flash 😳 My skin is not perfect. I obviously have some red spots, discoloration, and SUPER DRY skin. However, I’ve been loving this exfoliator because it’s been so helpful in cleaning off the dry, dead skin cells, plus of course #crueltyfree & #vegan . Since it’s colder out here in #NYC , Ive had to exfoliate less (from 5 days a week to about 2-3), so I might use it in combination with a gentler exfoliator to continue to exfoliate every day bc that’s what I think helps my skin the most (this one is pretty coarse/rough). I still love it though, it’s definitely kept my skin matte and clear overall.
8/10 – recommended for people with dry/combination skin like me!
Super easy recipe for a lazy weekend morning, especially if you like having something sweet for breakfast like I do… I try to resist reaching for the sugary cereals or for stacks of pancakes/bready items, because sometimes when I have an unhealthy breakfast, I’ll have unhealthy meals for the rest of the day. So this version of nice cream satisfies my craving and doesn’t make me want to reach for the unhealthy stuff right when I wake up!
Apple Pie Nice Cream
Granola and Nice Cream 🙂
